About Us
Adopt A Ghost is a small, independent endeavour run from the living room of a one bedroom flat in Putney, South West London.
It started off as a joke idea in early 2023. Then, I started creating it for real.
A few months later I had a website and had re-homed a few ghosts with people I knew or met. By the end of the year I’d sent ghosts all over the world!
The rest, like the former lives of our ghosts, is history. Be a part of it - adopt a ghost.

Where is my ghost?
All our ghosts are crafted by a real human so, when you pay the adoption fee, the link you get is just a confirmation. Behind the scenes we then get to work on your Ghost Adoption Certificate, ghost images and your letter of introduction.
How long does it take?
We will always email your Ghost Adoption Pack within 48 hours. If you need the ghost urgently please email to let us know and we’ll do our best to meet your timescales. If it’s essential to meet a specific date please get in touch before you order to confirm.
How can I get in touch?
You can contact us via any standard Ouija board. But the most reliable way is just to email us at GhostAdoptionAgency @ gmail (dot) com. Alternatively there’s a contact form at the bottom of this page.
Do you do special requests?
When you adopt a ghost we ask for a few bits of information about the person who will receive the ghost adoption. You can provide as much (or as little) information as you want to.
Each ghost is unique and if you have specific requests we will try to incorporate them; be please understand that we will not intentionally infringe any copyrighted material.
How are Ghost Adoption Certificates created?
All ghosts details are created personally by me by hand. There’s no ChatGPT. etc I use a bit of hand-coded automation (to help manage the order process) but each certificate is typed by me, based on what you tell me about the recipient. That’s what makes it personal for you and fun for me.
